West of Santa Rosa the owners built a home for their father. A simple an elegant structure a few hundred feet from the main house. The site is abundant with ground water. Soils and structural engineering required special considerations. We installed a temporary driveway for construction, excavated and re-compacted the building site for placement of the home and attached garage. Excavated for foundation and crawl space, provided drainage areas for rainwater and runoff. Installed septic tanks and provided horizontal borings for sewage transfers and electrical services. The owners also designed a retaining wall along the roadway which we built with proper drainage where flooding had been occurring in previous years. We also installed a new septic filtration system for both houses prior to distribution into the leach field. The owners were able to locate rock matching existing columns and planters for the new concrete retaining wall along the road.
